Flooding by Irma.
By the time Hurricane Irma reached the Charleston in September, 2017, the wind and rain had died down substantially and left little damage. However, the storm surge flooded homes all over the Lowcountry. This Downtown Charleston home was one of dozens that took in several inches of water throughout. It took days for the water to fully recede, but as roads became passable, we had trucks on their way to take care of homes and businesses that had sustained flood damage. Everyone on the SERVPRO of Greater Northern Charleston team worked around the clock to mitigate damage in as many homes and business as possible during the weeks following Irma. Take a moment and save our number in your phone so that in the event of a loss like this, you don’t have to worry about who to call. We are here 24/7, rain or shine. (843) 552-1226
